Julie joined us in October 2018 as Finance Manager and progressed on to become Group Operations & Finance Manager early in 2020. She has more than 18 years of accounts experience, having previously worked in the manufacturing/engineering sector. Prior to that, she worked within the admin sector of the NHS, both in the local hospital and community.
Julie enjoys taking on new challenges and one of the first tasks when she joined the company was preparing for a VAT inspection – always a daunting prospect to any business – however, this actually resulted in a refund – a first for the VAT Inspector having to give money back!!!
In her spare time she enjoys visiting the Lakes, walking, spending time with family and friends, and the odd game of bingo at the local club!!
